Finally I get to post this stunning Matric Farewell shoot I recently did for these stunning people. Hirome has been in contact with me for months about this, as he had made up his mind that he wants me to photograph this big day and that is that. We shot at the historical Klein Plasie here in Worcester and we had some magic light. Please feel free to have a look and share this with family and friends.
I had the previladge to help Karin, a Mrs South Africa finalists with a couple of techniques for photoshoots. This was basically her very first photoshoot ever. It was more of a fun session where I got to help her with how to use light and pose while shooting, and we happen to take some cool photos as well. Please follow her journey on her Facebook Page and Instagram pages and please give your vote for her. Feel free to leave a comment and share this with your friends and family.
A couple of weeks ago I posted the stunning engagement shoot of Lee & Janine, well now its time for their stunning Cape Town wedding that was held at the awesome Romney Park Boutique Hotel in Seapoint. It was one of those perfect winters days. It was almost needed for a jacket, but as soon as the sun started dipping it was chilly. We did some of the couple shoot in the Cape Town CBD and then we went to the beach close to Clifton. Here we had one of the best sunsets we could have asked for with some lovely golden light for the photos. After that we joined the rest of the party at the Hotel and we had some stunning food and then the party started. We ended of the evening with the send off of Lee and Janine with all the guests lining the steps with sparklers! Super awesome. Well, here it is, please feel free to let everyone know and please let me know what you think.
I have know Annegret since we where probably 7 years old and we basically grew up together. Two years ago she married Robin and here we are today, with the maternity shoot photos of Robin and Annegret. It amazing how we all get older and how we grow up, yet it feel just like yesterday we where having fun during the December holiday and all the friends on the beach and here we are, grown up and with kids!! Hopefully our kids can one day say the same when they are our age. About 4 days after the shoot Robert David was born, luckily we got to do the shoot just in time for that joyous occasion. Please feel free to like, comment and share this post.
Here we go, finally I get time to load the engagement shoot of Lee and Janine that was done at the stunning Die Eike Guesthouse in Rawsonville. The two of them took a break from their hectic training schedule for the Ironman to come and visit my valley for their engagement shoot. It was a stunning winters afternoon with stunning light here in the valley and we had loads of fun! That is why engagement sessions is so important to both photographer and the couple. Its more a get to know each other session than a photoshoot. We just happen to take cool photos in between. Please feel free to like comment and share this post!
If you can recall I recently did a family Shoot for the Dicey Family on their family farm outside Wolseley. Well recently the whole Dicey Family was here on holiday and with some of them living overseas it was a perfect time to do another shoot for them on the farm. It was one of those super cold Western Cape winter days with huge rain showers just looming to happen any moment. But luckily they did not happen during our shoot. It was cold but the light was near perfect for great photos. Please have a look and feel free to comment and share this post.
We have been friends with this stunning family for quite some time now. And when good friends like these trust us to photograph some of their special moments it is always rewarding. To have done a family shoot for the Van Rhyn Family was a huge honour and pleasure for me. As photographers we get to see families the way they don't see themselves and we then get to show that to them. Have a look and please feel free to comment and share this post.
I recently had the pleasure to do this shoot for Taroesh. He wanted to start a Model portfolio so that he could submit it to some of the model agencies in Cape Town. This was his very first time in front of the camera and I think he did a smashing job of it. Let me know what you guys think of it and please feel free to share with friends and family.
