Die Eike wedding venue
This was only my second Proposal shoot and it was very special! Jaco contacted me a while ago about doing a couple shoot for him and Martin. He then mentioned that it was his intention to pop the big question during the shoot. This got me excited. I just LOVE these special moments I get to share with my clients. Jaco said that I should choose the spot and the moment and he will get down on his knee and pop the question. I found the perfect spot where I could stand back and be out of earshot so they could have this special moment for themselves. I kept firing away and as soon as the question was popped and the ring was on the finger I came in close. Even I had a big lump in my throat! The rest of the shoot was just as awesome, but lets not keep you waiting, go and check it out! Thanks again to Charmaine from Die Eike Guesthouse and Wedding venue for opening your doors for us and this special shoot.
Next up it was the Matric farewell of HTS Drostdy. With it being that time of the year where the Matric learners finalize their last weeks at school, everyone is getting ready for their matric farewell ball. This is probably the biggest function that you will ever attend while still at school. This year was the same as the previous years, the girls looks amazing and the guys where not far behind. Here is the first one that I photographed. Both shoots were done at the stunning Die Eike Guesthouse and wedding venue Here is the selection of Nadia and SJ from HTS Drostdy Up next we have Pierre and Danica Check out their epic ride, a Peterbilt truck!

Capturing portraits of loving families is always great. I highly recommend having a family shoot every year. For two reasons, you can start to build up an image file with all the looks over the different years. This can then be used as blackmail material when your kids are in high school one day LOL. But one of the most important reasons is that you get to be all in front of the camera at once. As a family man myself, I often find that it's only my wife and Emily, or Emily and I, and not often all 3 of us, face it, one has to hold the camera! And the last reason, now you have photos to use as Christmas cards and not one of those awkward selfies you did in the Spur one afternoon. So here is the shoot I did for Angelique and her son and Landi and her two stunning kids at the awesome Die Eike Wedding Venue in Rawsonville. Please feel free to leave a comment or to share with friends and family.
Here we go, finally I get time to load the engagement shoot of Lee and Janine that was done at the stunning Die Eike Guesthouse in Rawsonville. The two of them took a break from their hectic training schedule for the Ironman to come and visit my valley for their engagement shoot. It was a stunning winters afternoon with stunning light here in the valley and we had loads of fun! That is why engagement sessions is so important to both photographer and the couple. Its more a get to know each other session than a photoshoot. We just happen to take cool photos in between. Please feel free to like comment and share this post!
We have been friends with this stunning family for quite some time now. And when good friends like these trust us to photograph some of their special moments it is always rewarding. To have done a family shoot for the Van Rhyn Family was a huge honour and pleasure for me. As photographers we get to see families the way they don't see themselves and we then get to show that to them. Have a look and please feel free to comment and share this post.
I met Matthew and Megan while I was in Yzerfontein to photograph Brent and Genna's wedding at Die Strandkombuis. The have booked the venue and came in for a meeting and bumped into me. Details was exchanged and as they say, the rest is history. We had their Worcester Engagement Shoot at the stunning Die Eike venue in Rawsonville. It was such a stunning day with stunning light. I am really looking forward to this wedding as I think its going to be a big one! Please feel free to like, comment or share this post.
This was my second last wedding for 2014! Man the time flew by, 2014 is basically just a blur. Well this was a good one for the second last wedding of 2014. A Rawsonville wedding is always special, especially of it is at a stunning venue like Die Eike! Ben-Herman and Adri chose this stunning wedding and got married under the massive old Oak trees. The setting was just perfect. And while I was shooting the ceremony, I could see this was going to be a great crowd! The band they had was simply amazing! It was one of the weddings with the best entertainment I have ever been to! Simply outstanding! Well, lets get on with the images. Please feel free to like, comment and share with friends!
This is the last of my weddings that I photographed in the first half of 2014 and it was the wedding of a very good friend of ours. The wedding took place at the brand new and pretty awesome Die Eike wedding venue and guesthouse just outside Rawsonville. Janel is a very talented hair and make up artist here in Worcester and we have worked together on so many shoots and weddings that we have become very good friends. So when she finally asked me to photograph their wedding I just got very excited, as I know Janel and Janel does not do the normal LOL Janel wore this lovely pink wedding dress, something completely different and it looked amazing! Blom was dressed in a tailored suit and together the two of them looked like they stepped out of a leading bridal publication. We only had a short time for formal portraits due to the light leaving us so soon, but the ones we did get is awesome! All in all, a great wedding, at a great venue with great friends!
