DuVon Wedding venue
This was my second wedding at the stunning DuVon Wedding venue that I photographed in two weeks. And even though both was at the same venue, EVERYTHING was different! Tiaan and Wendy went for a more classical wedding look, lots of white and lovely flowers. The wedding of Karin and Johan was bright and bold colours, just shows you how lucky we are to work with different people every day. Tiaan and Wendy is a stunning couple and you can really see the love between the two of them. I often get a lump in my throat when I see a big guy swallow his tears when the bride walks down the isle. It was mid May and the winter chill had started soon the day already, but that did not stop us from getting some awesome shots! Wendy got dressed at the spectacular Robertson Small Hotel, really a great place for some great images. One of the highlights of the evening was the food! It was only the second time that I have eaten Lamb Rump steak, and to say it was amazing is an understatement! What I have to say is this, I see lots of grooms and at almost every wedding the poor groom gets sprayed with strings and water and what ever the guys can find, but Tiaan is the groom that got sprayed the most of all the grooms that I have photographed. That the poor man could get a word in was actually unimaginable! From the guys at the table where I Sat, it was mentioned that there was a total number of 37 cans of spray string..... Well the pictures will tell. Thank you guys for choosing me to photograph your wedding, I am sure you guys will be more than happy with the images! Please feel free to like, comment and share this with all your friends and family.
Here is the next wedding to be shared, its the stunning wedding of Johan and Karin that was held at the stunning DuVon Wedding venue outside Robertson. I met Karin when she was still at school here in Worcester, in fact, she was one of the very first people that I photographed right at the start of my photographic career and that was at a school sport day! Looking back now at those images I cant believe how crap I used to be LOL, but obviously it left an impression on Karin who then went on and booked me for her wedding! The whole wedding had a vintage party theme, with popcorn, punch and funky decor. I just loved the bright colours on the tables, something different and creative! We had a stunning day for a wedding and this was my third wedding in a row where we had a pretty damn awesome sunset, which we managed to capture. The reception turned out to be an awesome party and young and old rocked the dance floor Kari got dressed at the stunning Orange Grove farm outside Robertson
Dirk and Janke, there is so much to say about this awesome couple. Its not often that you find such an in-love couple, they could hardly stop looking at each other and poor Dirk could not resist to sneak a kiss or two with Janke even before the minister could say "you may kiss the bride" LOL The wedding was held the stunning DuVon estate outside Robertson. Everything was done really simple and stylish, I like simple decorations, to much is well...to much. After the ceremony there was some heavy clouds in the area and I knew we where going to get some nice photos of the couple with the clouds. But one photo I got, one that I will share at a later stage, is very special to me. Its an image of their reflection in the stunning old car they had as a wedding car. Janke wore an Elizabeth Stockenstrom dress, I simply lots of detail and it fitted her like a glove. So without further adue, here is the images from their wedding.
